Antique vintage old cut and rosecut diamond Harem style 18k gold ring. This ring dates to the late 19th Century. The Ottomans and Turks in the 19th Century were known for making rings that had several thin bands that were set with gems on top and were attached in the back making a stack of rings that were attached. It is a style that was copied by European makers. They are the modern stacking ring! This ring is similar in that it appears to be several stacks but is actually one ring. It is set with 48 rosecut diamonds and 8 old mine cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.40 cts total. It is currently a size 9. It can be carefully sized down, but might not be able to be sized up. The back is about 0.25 inches wide and the top at its widest is 0.50 inches wide.
