Antique 19th Century Engraved Guilloche Enamel Gold Pendant Locket

An exquisite Nineteenth Century 18k gold purple guilloche enamel engraved pendant that opens to a locket and holds two photos. This locket is so delicately and finely made from about 1880. Once side of the locket has roses and flowers coming out of a fine urn surrounded by ribbons and vine. Purple enamel is the background. The borders of the locket is white enamel with fine pin point details. The reverse of the locket is a scroll like three sided flower with fleur de lis and flowers. The radiating pattern on the guilloche is riveting and the heavy gold engraving exquisite. Inside the locket are round glass windows for photos and the sides of the locket are also finely engraved. The locket is 1 inch in diameter.
