A mid-Century 18k gold ruby and diamond bombe bypass ring by Van Cleef & Arpels. This pretty fluted ring is set with 5 rubies weighing about 0.65 cts and 5 round brilliant diamonds weighing 0.75 cts. The stones are set within fluted curved gold that wraps around each other like a ribbon. The texture of the gold goes all the way around the band of the ring. It is a very handsome style ring with elegance and understated class. There is a French hallmark for 18k gold and the ring is stamped VAN CLEEF ET ARPELS numbered 75284. The ring is a size 6 and would have to be sized carefully.
