Cartier 18 Karat Gold Onyx Diamond Panther Bombe Ring

An elegant and classic diamond and onyx panther bombe ring by Cartier circa 1980. Round brilliant diamonds are dotted with irregular shaped black onyx to create a panther's spots. The ring is set with 107 diamonds weighing approximately 7 cts total. The ring is a dome shape that sits nicely above the finger, but feels very comfortable to wear. The ring is signed Cartier Paris and numbered 021640. There are French hallmarks on the shank of the ring. It is currently a size 5 3/4.
