Rare and Unusual Victorian Gold Dendritic Agate Bangle

A bold and wide hinged bangle bracelet set with large dendritic agate panels circa 1880. This bracelet has wonderful black enamel stripe accents and wire frames around the large pieces of agate. Dendritic agate is so unusual and beautiful since it looks like intricate paintings of trees or forests. We have never seen such large pieces used in jewelry before. The bracelet is bold and makes a statement that is useful with today's fashion. The bracelet is a little over one inch wide at its top and 3/4 inch wide at the back. It is nearly 2 1/2 inches wide, and 2 inches top to bottom.
