Victorian 18k Yellow Gold Ruby and Diamond Bangle Bracelet

A bright Victorian 18k yellow gold bangle set with cushion cut diamonds and lovely rubies, circa 1880. The bracelet centers on a diamond weighing approximately 0.75 carats and graded as I to J color, VS clarity. Four other old mine cut diamonds weigh about 0.60 carats total. There are 20 mixed shape rubies weigh a total of about 3 carats total. The rubies are a bright pink red shade. The combination of stones and the design is unusual for the time period, but most attractive. The bracelet hinges open on the side with a safety chain. The bangle is 2.5 inches wide and 2.15 inches from top to bottom. Overall an estimate length of about 8 inches around.
