Antique Victorian Pair of Amethyst Diamond Cuff Bracelets by Carlo Giuliano

A rare Victorian pair of 18k gold cuffs set with large amethysts that are studded with rose cut diamonds made by Carlo Giuliano around 1860. The cuff bracelets have the makers mark for Giuliano "CG" on the underside near the clasp of both bangles. The edges of the cuff bracelets have fine cantetille gold work that the Italian craftsman was known for. The gold and stud details that give a modern fresh edge to the bracelets. The amethysts are like lozenges that are set with gold stars. The bracelets are 1 inch wide and 2.25 inches wide at the widest part of the bangle. They hinge open. The bracelets are in good condition, though have some wear given its age. There are minor dents to some of the bracelet, though not noticeable.
