A rare and pristine Art Deco cushion sapphire platinum diamond ring by Tiffany & Co. circa 1925. This ring features a blue cushion shaped sapphire weighing approximately 1.80 ct. The panel ring is set with two French Cut diamonds on the side and other Old European cut diamonds in the mounting. The ring has filigree accents, with gorgeous engraving and detailed shoulders. The milgrain beading is still crisp. The sapphire has a certificate from the AGL that it originates from Cambodia. This is not unusual for a ring of this time period, as sapphires were mined all over that region, from Sri Lanka to Kashmir. These sapphires were prized as they greatly look like the more rare Kashmir color. The ring is a size 8 and can be sized. The ring is stamped Tiffany & Co.
