Classic baguette diamond platinum wedding band by Van Cleef and Arpels, circa 1950. The bright and well made wedding band is set with 33 baguette diamonds weighing a total of approximately 3.0 cts. The diamonds are graded as G to H color and VS clarity. The band is engraved on one side with the date 21-3-54 (English date), and Vera-Chester. The other side is marked with PT950 a French Hallmark and Van Cleef & Arpels 25678. The band is 3.9 mm wide. The band is in great condition, with a small chip to the corner of one of the stones, not detectable without aide and cannot be seen with the naked eye. The ring is a size 6.5.
