A sculptural twist on the traditional bombé ring by the French master jeweler Pierre Sterlé. Sterle was known for creating jewelry with movement and curves, a little atypical of the jewelry being created in the period. He often used tassels and feather motifs to create textural pieces. This ring has twisted gold elements that creates a tactile and interesting finish. The diamond dome is set with 31 round brilliant diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats total. The ring is signed Sterle Paris with the numbers 5.656. The French gold hallmark appears on the outside of the bottom of the ring. The ring is a 4 3/4 and can be gently sized.
