A lovely early Victorian five stone Rose cut diamond band ring circa 1850. The band is set with 5 rose cuts in a closed back setting that weigh about 1 carat total. The rose cut diamonds have nice rounded tops, and a good bright quality to them. The ring is topped in silver that has oxidized to create a darkened patina. The band is currently a size 9.25. These rings are increasingly harder to find, and this one with bright round rose cuts is particularly nice.
