Antique Victorian Gold and Coral Link Bracelet with Padlock Clasp
A rare and unusual Victorian coral gold bracelet with a coral set padlock claps. The gold tests for 18k gold. The chain bracelet is made up of alternating gold links with matching carved coral links, the padlock locket opens to secure the bracelet and has a crystal on the reverse that holds tightly woven hair. The carved links are intricately executed to match the gold links exactly. The coral padlock is charming on its own and can also be worn on a chain for a necklace. It secures the bracelet perfectly. The bracelet is 8 inches long. We date the bracelet to about 1880. This is a rare and collectible piece of Victorian jewelry, the alternating coral and gold links are truly special.
